Abbie Hill completed a summer REU with the Lagally Group
The Lagally Group was fortunate this summer to be joined by Abbie Hill, an undergraduate student from Tufts University. Abbie participated in the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program sponsored in part by the National Science Foundation and the University of Wisconsin. While with the Lagally Group, Abbie conducted Van der Pauw measurements on nanomembranes and worked to resolve some of the complications surrounding electrical measurements of extremely small structures. Her REU experience culminated in an hour-long poster presentation where she was able to display her achievements to faculty, staff, and students. Abbie's poster can be found here.
