Welcome
Thank you for your interest in the Lagally Research Group. Please note that, as an active research group, we are continually updating our website. Check back periodically to see the latest research and updated information. We hope you find this site a useful source of information on the group's activities, thin film technology, and nanotechnology in general.
Congratulations!
Congratulations to Arnold Kiefer, our most recent Lagally Group alumnus. Arnold defended his PhD thesis in June and has accepted a position with the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL) in Dayton, OH.

Research Updates
As a member of the Adaptive Intelligent Photonic/Electronic Systems (AIPES) Multi-University Research Initiative, we host an ongoing lecture series in which speakers, both visiting and from within the group, give updates on research related to the development of nanomembranes and their applications.
